Tuesday Morning Breakfast

Uncle Diki serves breakfast at 7:30 every Tuesday morning during the winter months for anyone who would like to join us.  Please put your name on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board and mark the days you can attend.

Lenten Soup Suppers

On Wednesdays in Lent (through March 16), a soup dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m., and a time of discussion and reflection will follow.  This year’s theme is “Getting Grounded,” as we focus on the book “Grounded: Finding God in the World, A Spiritual Revolution” by Diana Butler Bass.  Please sign up if you can bring the soup supper on one of the Wednesdays.

Henry Opukaha’ia Sunday

On February 21, we collected our annual offering for “Henry Opukaha’ia Sunday.”  The money goes to scholarships for current and prospective pastors in Hawaii.  “Henry O” was the first known Hawaiian to convert to Christianity.  If you did not get a chance to contribute to this fund and you would like to do so, feel free to send a check with the “Henry O” notation.  Thank you for your generosity.

Coming Up Next Week:

March 4, 2016, Friday, 6:30 p.m.

We will show the movie “War Room” in Moore Hall.  This movie is a “Christian drama.”  Bring your comfortable lawn chairs.
