Book Release Reception

Kōloa Union Church is hosting a free reception for the community to celebrate the release of my new book THE VOLCANO IS OUR HOME: Nine Generations of a Hawaiian Family on Kilauea Volcano.

Please come and invite all of your friends, relatives and neighbors who are interested in Hawaiian culture and history!

Membership Gathering

Just a reminder that I will be hosting a gathering for anyone interested in learning about Koloa Union Church and what membership entails…this Sunday right after Aloha Hour. There will be an opportunity for people to decide to join as members if they want, but no pressure or expectations. If there is anyone out there who plans to attend and hasn’t let me know yet, please send me a quick note just to make sure I have enough material for all.
